【作品説明】
彫り目が綺麗で目元が優しくて、お母さんっぽさを感じました。
強く生きる母熊のイメージで、作品が家の空間に寄り添い、あたたかくしてくれるようにと思い制作しました。

生き物をモチーフに漆を用いて彫刻を制作しています。生き物のもつ、豊かなカタチ、自由なカタチ、そこに自身の想いや願いを込めて表現することを大切にしています。

[Explanation of item]
Chiaki Yamada felt a maternity of through looking into the gentle beautiful wooden eyes of the bear. Imagining the bear is a strong mother, she has designed the bear hoping she would accompany the space and would take care of the house.

Most of her artwork has a motif of living creatures, and sculptures using Japanese lacquer. She strongly thinks it is very important to express her own feelings and hopes into the animals that has its own styles and freedom.
